Finding Your Compass Through Portraiture
Finding Your Compass Through Portraiture | Summer 2018
Do you avoid portraiture altogether because of fears and anxieties around approaching strangers?
How do you know who to photograph?
Fear of photographing strangers dictates the pictures we make, inhibits projects and even alters our career trajectories. This intensive, yet fun, workshop tackles these anxieties head on by motivating and empowering you. By building your confidence as you photograph the class addresses the relative discomfort around this type of portraiture. Not just a street photography class, this class will help you find and create a narrative through portraiture as well as give you tools to continue on your own beyond the class experience.
Photographers at any level, in any format, from iPhone to large format are encouraged to register. Open to digital or analog with in house B/W processing available.
